Peanut chutney

This a recipe for the South Indian peanut chutney that goes well with Idli and Dosa and vada, but if you re brave you can also have it with chips and other things that need a dip.

Ingredients
Peanuts
Salt
Garlic
Chilli
Oil
Lemon / raw mango

Method
Heat up some oil in a pan.
Fry the chillies and garlic. Then add the peanuts and fry until done.
Pour everything into a grinder. Add some salt. At this point, if you like mangoes for the sourness, cut up some raw mangoes and add them. Grind everything.
Alternately, if you don’t like or don’t have raw mangoes, add lemons to the ground mixture.
Some people like to jhanos this achar. Please go ahead if you feel like it. Heat up some oil, fry come curry leave and chana dal, and add to the chutney. Otherwise, chutney is good as it is.
